Nixon All Gunmetal Sentry Chrono watch

I rarely link to traditional watches as I don't wear them, but before I owned an Apple Watch, I actually went without one for a while. Mainly because the watches I wore were metal and created a lot of noise while using a computer. For years I would wear a watch to walk and take it off so I could type in peace.

The last proper watch I owned was an inexpensive Lorus which I actually loved to wear.

This all gunmetal Nixon, though. It's stunning.

Price: £325

Precision bend ruler

We've recently completed a bunch of work on our house, just a few bits I've had to take on myself like decorating, but something like this would have been infinitely useful for tackling things in right corners.

Renault MORPHOZ

Reminded me of The Flash TV series, where Barry Allen's costume lives in a ring or Black Panther who has a suit that grows over him.

Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha Impressions: The Wraparound Display!

Pretty interesting concept with a wrap around display. Great way to have a full-res selfie camera.

While it looks very cool and the kind of thing we might have seen predicted 30 years ago, I'm left wondering if we really need edge to edge displays. Security features like Face ID don't have to be limited to full screen phones so the only difference comes down to gestures.

The new Razr from Motorola is far more interesting to me. Taking the phones we have and shrinking them down when not in use. That should be the future.

Polestar Precept

As if I wasn't already a fan of the Polestar brand, they announced the Precept that they're taking to Geneva Motor Show and it's pretty stunning.

The interior I linked too in this week's article was actually a teaser for the precept, not the Polestar 2 interior. They're not that different, but it's far cleaner in the Precept. More like the interior in a Tesla Model 3 or BMW i3.

Google testing new double-tap gesture on back of Pixel phones

Thinking about this from an iOS perspective, would this be any faster than swiping up/down to get to Control Centre and launching the camera from there? Maybe a little, but trying it just now, I don't hold my phone in a way that would allow me to comfortably double tap the centre.

Despite access to the camera through Control Centre, I still see plenty of users that press the home button, swipe to the screen with the Camera app and launch it from there.

Not sure how easy it would be to discover and if it's something that gets triggered inadvertently then that would be annoying.

I'd prefer a dedicated camera button.

Hasbro to launch 'Real Ghostbuster' action figures

I had at least one of these when I was a kid, complete with proton blasters and the little ghosts that have a really odd texture. I can feel it now.
