Study claims using CarPlay while driving is more dangerous than texting
I don't doubt the results of this study, despite the small sample size. CarPlay looks really good, but Siri is too hit and miss for it to work seamlessly. Unless you trust Siri completely, you'll not only be glancing to check it heard you correctly but you have to pay attention to make sure it understood you too.
CarPlay is one aspect of this, but what's the market share in terms of cars that have access to CarPlay? Single figure percentages I would have thought. Improving Do Not Disturb mode while driving would be really useful. One tap execution of common tasks.
It's also weird that Siri can't work offline for simple on-device tasks like playing podcasts or music.

iPad Pro — Your next computer is not a computer
Nice update to the iPad Pro with a new LiDAR sensor and rear camera setup like the iPhone 11. But it's the new Magic Keyboard that looks like a real game changer.
The Magic Keyboard introduces a trackpad and a USB-C port which charges the iPad. Oh and it's hinge allows the iPad to float.
Not seen pricing for the keyboard yet.

IKEA Pizza Hut table
These 'tables' are triangle now, in the UK at least. But this is exactly how I remember them to look.
