Chinese scientists are creating CRISPR babies

They are hoping to use the CRISPR gene editing technique to “eliminate a gene called CCR5 in hopes of rendering the offspring resistant to HIV, smallpox, and cholera”.

I've heard of designer babies and the promise of changing their makeup to deal with disease and while I could understand if someone opposed to this morally, being able to create immunity to something like HIV sounds astounding.

End of Space - Creating a Prison for Humanity

Watch something like this and it can make you wonder why the movie wasn't really a documentary! Not sure what's more unbelievable about the situation. Is it that there are millions of pieces of debris that are too small to track or that pieces the size of marbles can- be tracked?
