Nice site to help you quickly find and use special characters. I use these all the time via Symbols - unicode keyboard - Rinat Khanov on my iPhone and I often use the Emoji & Symbols option on macOS but this is far more convenient for the cases it covers.

New logo for Facebook, Inc

I'm sure Alphabet wasn't created just to help better separate Google products from each other but the cynic in me thinks that Facebook's move to differentiate between the company and the app is purely to try and better handle the negative press.

A critical analysis of scroll bars throughout history

My first interactions with a Mac at school was around OS 8 or 9 with both arrows at the bottom of the scroll bar which always felt odd. While a permanent scrollbar is useful for context, I much prefer macOS's version that only appears when you are looking to scroll. As a website developer, I hate it when the page jumps because scrollbars come and go, it's a poor experience.

On the face of it, it all seems pretty cowardly, but there's lots of nuance to this.

Manufacturers can already hit incredible performance figures if you look at the amount of BHP-per-litre but they really need to turn their attention to MPG for a while.
