Completely unintended, but Good Gear Club ended up in a bit of a hiatus. There was a long break between regular posts, with just a few sporadic ones making it through. This past month, I've started getting back into the swing of it and even have some blog posts lined up.
Ideally, I could automate it because I never stopped gathering items to review, but posting takes time as I collate images and information. I haven't quite figured out making it a more seamless process but I'm much closer than I was than before.
As part of its revival, I decided to focus on the SEO a little more and leant on AI to give me some suggestions. Let's just say it was hit and miss. I know there are a bunch of changes that were made, but Google's Search Console it flagging them as issues, but it's an ongoing process. All I want to do is make the items, and the site overall, more discoverable. I believe it's in a good place, but it will evolve more over time as it's something I am paying more attention to.
