Ever hear someone say how creepy it is that they were talking to a friend about a product or service and then a little while later, Instagram is showing ads for the very thing they were talking about?
There's never been a way to really know if this was true, but I have Background App Refresh turned off for all Facebook related products and camera and mic access disabled too. They can frame this as a bug if they want, but just the latest in a long line of apps that have been exposed for doing something shady.
