Virgin Galactic's spaceplane makes it to space for the first time
Virgin Galactic has been a thing for almost as long as I can remember, probably for most of my adult life, but this is the first time it feels close to being a reality. From the @virgingalactic Twitter account:

True Detective second trailer for season 3
The format looks much more like the first season which was a great series. While season 2 took the time to cover the characters, it wasn't the same without flashbacks. Looks like they're back with the original formula and I'm really looking forward to it.

RAM in 1969 vs 2018
You can easily replace Slack with Chrome or any number of apps that love to get the old fans spinning. This is something that always astounds me when watching pieces on Nasa's history. The phones in our pockets now have thousands times more power than the computers used when 'we' put men on the moon.
Draws parallels with the cost of the internet. As speeds increase and bandwidth becomes unlimited, rather than making access faster, web pages just get heavier so we don't often see the benefit.
