The Big Brexit Short
More infuriating details about Brexit. Not long until we'll be dragged out of the EU now and it increasingly looks like it will be done without a deal in place and even in a way that will break international agreements.
Certainly explains

NESPi 4 case for Raspberry Pi 4
I'm a sucker for NES themed items, this looks like a great case for a Raspberry Pi... I really need to plug mine back in and get it working again.
Price: £30

Liverpool FC: The 30-Year Wait
So many memories for me watching this. When I first started following Liverpool 25 years ago, there no way I thought it would take that long to find their way back to the top. There's a lot covered in 90 minutes and it's interesting to see the various personalities the club put in charge over the years.

A Jeep in a box
I'd love to own something like this, what a great project this would be to take on with my son or with my dad (or both). Although I found engines a little dull in my youth, I have fond memories of taken them apart and servicing cars with grandfather. This would take me right back to those days.

Teaching a six year old about cyphers & how to encrypt and decrypt messages using a private key
It's been a very long time since I've looked at doing anything like this manually. I just tried it using the details found here and even though the tutorial specifies that the key phrase should be the same length, repeating the key phrase again and again lets you do longer messages.
Not sure my 6 year old will get it but I'm gonna put a list of messages together using a few different techniques and will see if she can unscramble them on the weekend.

Pandemic changes we might want to keep
I've worked with remote team mates for the past 8 years and it's never really been a problem. Of course, it's great to meet up and socialise in person but the time you get back from not having to commute is huge.
I much prefer working in the office but I have the luxury of a short commute. If I was still trapping across London I'm sure I'd feel differently about that.
