Paperang P2S: World's first all-in-one pocket phone printer

I like these types of printers but they often turn out to be fairly pricey for how little I would actually use them. Reminded me of Berg's Little Printer which is now defunct.

Animation of a spiral disk around a Black Hole

Found via NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day.

What would it look like to orbit a black hole? Many black holes are surrounded by swirling pools of gas known as accretion disks. These disks can be extremely hot, and much of the orbiting gas will eventually fall through the black hole's event horizon -- where it will never be seen again. The featured animation is an artist's rendering of the curious disk spiraling around the supermassive black hole at the center of spiral galaxy NGC 3147. Gas at the inner edge of this disk is so close to the black hole that it moves unusually fast -- at 10 percent of the speed of light. Gas this fast shows relativistic beaming, making the side of the disk heading toward us appear significantly brighter than the side moving away. The animation is based on images of NGC 3147 made recently with the Hubble Space Telescope.

Liverpool vs Chelsea highlights of the UEFA Super Cup Final in Instanbul

It wouldn't be a trip to a competitive final in Istanbul without some drama. As it's a minor trophy, I hadn't thought about sharing it but why not share the second trophy Liverpool have won in 2019?

A majority of all browser-based Google searches last month resulted in zero clicks

I've been using Safari as my default browser for a while now and it often surprises me with a website I should visit rather than more search terms or search results. When I do get to a set of search results, the answer is sometimes embedded at the top of the list on Google which is really nice for the user experience, but not so great for content providers.

Shakotan 2000GT

I came across Khyzyl Saleem's work through Cool Material. This Shakotan 2000GT concept was my favourite.

Pablo Escobar's Bombed Mansion & 'Narcotourism'

After finally watching Narcos, it's hard not to admire the landscapes of Colombia. We saw this episode of The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan a few days ago and as a whole the country looks amazing. Certainly one that I'd love to visit.
