Despite watching for the last couple of years, I feel like I came to the HTTP 203 series of videos pretty late.
It's one of the better series out there, in my opinion. The examples given are clear and very helpful. They both do a good job of outlining performance issues, their causes and their fixes very well.
Even during an entire pandemic they managed to put some great content together and recently announced season 8 and the first episode (back in a studio) was released last week.
When I wrote about image compression last year, I even included one of their videos where they discussed the topic in great detail. It gave me lots of food for thought as have most of their videos.
If you want to learn more about how to optimise the images on your webpage, then their follow up on progressively loading images is well worth a watch.
One of their more recent videos on performance pitfalls is well worth a watch for some good tips on improving performance and is a great example of the type of content they put out.
