Samsung Galaxy S10 fingerprint sensor can be circumvented with $3 screen protector
How can this be implemented so poorly? I'd bet a large number of smartphone users protect their screens so surely it should be part of the QA process for a feature that relies on the screen itself to function.

Volvo XC40 Recharge
Despite how I feel about SUVs, the Volvo XC40 is a good looking car and as an EV and I would be tempted by their hybrid, let alone this fully electric version.
Nice to see Volvo aren't limiting their EV ambitions to the Polestar brand.

Good Samaritan tracks down owner of lost wallet by sending message through 1p online bank transfers
Genius.
Finding nothing, he logged onto his online banking account and noticed four separate transfers had been made into his account.
Each were for the value of a penny, and each contained a message within the constraints of the 18 character limit.
When combined, the message read: “Hi, I found your / wallet in the road / 07XXXXXXXXX / Text or call!”
